The guiding principle form this collage on vintage vinyl comes from Hipgnosis and Storm Thorgerson. Hipgnosis had a rule—no band photos unless necessary. I followed that rule in honor of Thorgerson, whose work made Pink Floyd a visual experience as much as a musical one.
Prisms and spectrums from The Dark Side of the Moon are placed in a broken landscape. The hallucinogenic eye in the sky reflects themes of being watched vs. being understood. And, of course, The Wall is present in the background.
That’s why, when you listen to Floyd, you can’t help but see the visuals behind closed eyes.
