A custom 62 inch version is in the collection of Foote, Cone & Belding and currently hangs in the New York office of the Global Chief Creative Officer.

The original 24 x 36 inch ink piece resides in a private collection in Toronto.

In the middle of Cheshy’s face, on his nose which is really a mushroom, the Caterpillar exhales smoke from his hookah (lower right). The hookah hose loops around a white drop on the right, forming an eye. The smoke he exhales loops around a white droplet on the left, creating his other eye. That smoke becomes Alice (lower left). The White Rabbit appears in four places, frantically running through the maze. A larger water droplet enters the top of the cat’s head, representing the rabbit hole that we all have access to.
