That’s why he began hosting collage workshops in Brooklyn, creating a space where anyone, regardless of experience, can explore the joy of making something by hand. His workshops are rooted in the idea that scissors can be a tool of meditation, and glue can spark a dialogue with your intuition. Although the tools and materials seem simple, you’ll soon find out that they are your new favorite ingredients for storytelling, meditation, and transformation.

After leading award-winning creative teams at BBDO NY and Charter Communications—crafting campaigns for global brands like FedEx, Snickers, and HBO—Rick turned his attention to a more tactile form of communication: paper collage. His fascination with decorative paper and the cultures they reflect led to a new artistic journey - one that has taken his work to exhibitions across the world and into the hearts of those who find meaning in color, pattern, and texture.

In these sessions, you’ll be guided through the creation of your own imagined scenes using paper, scissors, glue. Your workshop will begin by getting familiar with various materials and a brief meditation designed for vision-setting. You’ll then be led through a hands-on process filled with encouragement, insight, and artistic freedom.
