I'M NOT HERE
I became a Radiohead fan through new friends who were Radiohead fans. Great times going to the shows or just hanging at their house listening to record after record. They’re definitely a go to vibe for me - their textured soundscapes, complex polyrhythms, and Thom Yorke's heartbreaking falsetto are needed palate cleansers after listening to other music.
Radiohead’s visual brand is defined by dystopian abstraction, technological anxiety and submersive sub-branding. Yorke and artist Stanley Donwood create an aesthetic world that mirrors the band's themes of isolation, surveillance, and environmental decay.
I’ve been asked if the character in the center is Mickey Mouse, but it’s their symbol called the “Modified Bear.” All of their album cover art was used to create this piece.
